The modules are generally used to add functionalities to the data structure such as the configuration of the expenses, plans or containers. Expense modules are generally used to calculate the cost on a specified period, the plan modules are used to add multiple salary or income on a scheduled period and the container modules are used to attach tags to browse the expenses or incomes in categories.

Modules can also help into sorting the expenses on the plan list. It is useful to have the expenses grouped together to simply unpublish the module or update it's tags to render a newer version of the plan results and target multiples expenses at once without having to select the tag in each expense independently. Modules can be published or unpublished, sorted, created, deleted, and their data display can be customized. More module are expected to come with the plugin feature by letting you install extended functionalities.
