To write your first question about a technical issue on the base application or any related extensions found on this site, you will need to ensure you have cited the script name correctly, that you have followed adequately the documentation and revised the forum to ensure your question hasn't been already answered, that you explain clearly if it's an error of the script, a new feature request, an installation issue or other type of error.

If we are talking about an error, you will need to describe the steps you completed to obtain the error. The script admin will try to reproduce the error on his side but with more information and description, the time spent on resolving the issue will be lessen. An error that is related to server management may be ignored when it does not block the script from working properly or that a server upgrade can fix it easily.

An installation request may need some credentials in order to login through the FTP or cPanel of the site. Note that this site is not responsable for any lost of data within the FTP account or database. Make sure you are sending information of a testing site or explain to the author that the site is functional if already setup and in production mode. Installation request will always need a good revision once completed. If you are the script author please make sure you tested the features to avoid too many back and forth within this forum.

If the script author is not responsive to an error reporting post, you can always contact the admin of this forum. Any script questions that haven't been replied in a long time could risk some revision by the admin of the forum and additional measures may be taken as per contacting the author or adding a warning on the script download page.
